Foundations to Thrive

Well done Koi Tū – the Centre for Informed Futures on your informative new collection Foundations to Thrive: Policy Briefs for Child and Family Wellbeing.

Across eleven briefs, Koi Tū – the Centre for Informed Futures condenses evidence and insight on the many threads of wellbeing, from maternal mental health and early learning to belonging, resilience and parenting in the digital world. The work highlights how wellbeing is both systematic and complex, shaped by the social, cultural and economic conditions that surround whānau.

For DECA, this work strengthens the connection between wellbeing and digital equity. The same conditions that help families flourish offline, such as safety, belonging, confidence and opportunity, also shape how people connect, participate and ultimately thrive in our digital world.

Ngā mihi Koi Tū for this thoughtful and future-focused contribution to Aotearoa’s wellbeing journey.
