Kia ora koutou,At the Digital Equity Coalition Aotearoa (DECA), our core function is to serve as a hub, bringing together those committed to closing Aotearoa’s digital divide. As a network-based organisation, we believe that collective impact is achieved through connection, collaboration and resource sharing. This approach centres on supporting and amplifying the work of those on the ground by connecting them with others in our network who can provide resources and expertise. To this end, we’re reaching out to not-for-profit and charitable initiatives that may not work directly in the digital equity space but serve communities who would benefit from greater digital inclusion. As Vic speaks to in this months blog, we recognise that many of the communities you support may face barriers to accessing digital resources, skills and connectivity. Through DECA's network, we can foster partnerships that empower communities across Aotearoa and help identify gaps in digital support for those who need it most.
